Giveaway time!
If you like shopping, this post is for you.
If you remember, I'm doing a review and giveaway this week from CSN stores, an online shopping site with a truly enormous selection of products to choose from. I had a heck of a time figuring out what I wanted to choose to review, but finally, I decided on one of these adorable aprons. They're cute, they're feminine, they're sassy, and they will make me feel happy when I'm in the kitchen.
Even once I narrowed it down to an apron, I could hardly choose between Scarlet Blossom,

Sassy Red,

or Lucious Lemons.

Or maybe Cherry Blossom.

Tough decision! They're all so cute! I finally left it up to my husband, who picked Scarlet Blossom. When I receive it, I will review it, completely and honestly. I mean, it's an apron, so it's not like it has a lot of features that I'm expecting will break down or otherwise cause me concern. I think I'll probably like it. But if it should fall apart the first time I wash it, or if it turns out actually not nearly as cute as it looks in the photos, I'll let you know.
Now, here's the giveaway part: one of you lucky readers will get a chance to spend $40 at CSN Stores too! You could pick an apron, like I did, or pretty much anything else your little heart desires. CSN stores offer a lot of stuff to choose from. It's like finding yourself in a giant mall with $40 in your hand and the instructions to head out in any direction you want. Shoes? Kitchen stuff? A purse? Something for your kids? Something for your pet? I'm hoping the winner will report back on what she (or he) picks and how it turns out.
So, to enter the $40 CSN stores giveaway, please leave a comment answering this question: When you suddenly find yourself with a little unexpected cash, what do you spend it on?
The giveaway will be open until Monday, July 12. I will draw a winner at random from all the commenters. If you're not signing in with a Blogger account, make sure you leave me your name or some way to contact you so I can let you know if you've won.

Okay, I'd totally have picked Scarlet Blossom as well - SO CUTE! Is it possible for one to have too many fabulous aprons? I think not.
So, when I find myself with a little extra cash: I typically spend it on clothes for my rapidly growing daughter. BUT lately - I've been trying to complete our master bedroom bedding set, so really, *that's* who's been getting most of my extra penny love lately. :)
p.s., great giveaway!
I buy shoes. My feet don't grow with a pregnant belly, develop bumpy cellulose cells, or ever look fat in a pair of fab red shoes. My feet will and always will be faithful to make a pair of shoes complement my skinny, size 9 (Jessica says 9 1/2) feet.
I either buy clothes for myself or fabric. Both are selfish, that's a bummer but both make me really happy. Those aprons are SOOO pretty! Love them!
Ooh, how fun. :) Unfortuneately, these days when I have "extra" cash it goes into the laundry fund, since we have to go to the laundromat these days. It's expensive! But if I had extra cash that I had to spend at a certain store, I would probably buy a cute apron. :)
Right now my extra cash would go towards some medical bills I have just racked up. If that were not the case though I would love to find something spectacular for my house or a gift for my husband.

I'd get a guidecraft kitchen helper. Thanks for the chance!
Extra cash would probably end up in the gas tank. But extra money that must be shopped with? Probably some boyish things from the baby store for our expected august arrival!
I would have picked the Scarlet Blossom apron, too. Very pretty! Unexpected cash... it very much depends on the amount! 5 bucks and I go get a coffee. Much more than that and it sometimes ends up being shoes or clothes, but honestly, a lot of times it ends up being spent taking the family out for a fun dinner or some kind of experience.
Extra cash = splurge at Starbucks or a new shirt!!!
I'm liking this knife: http://www.csnstores.com/Mundial-BP5109-7-MUN1165.html
I would take anything over the poor quality knives that we need to upgrade and replace!
Love those aprons - I would have had a hard time picking as well! :)
Let's see here, extra cash? What's that like? But...when there is some extra to spend? It usually gets spent on some books or clothes for Hannah! :) Right now I'd love some cash to put towards re-doing her room. :)
Nice aprons.
Extra cash? Easy. Books :)
I usually buy books for myself or my daughter.
Extra cash would probably be spent on my daughters or granddaughters.
Nana
for me when there is a little extra cash I buy my daughter some books :)

@ Anne: Oh, but for me, my feet DID grow with my pregnant belly. After three pregnancies, my feet are at least a half size if not a full size bigger and definitely wider. Isn't that sad? And now that I'm running (to counteract all those other places on my body where life has piled on the pounds as well) I'm developing all sorts of calluses and blisters. My feet just aren't as pretty as they once were. Sigh. But a pair of fab shoes does still make me feel better!
Well if I am feeling really excited I will go out and buy a new shirt or something, but usually it goes to something like a milkshake or something else not so good for me! :)
Those aprons are adorable! I'd be hard pressed to choose, too, though. So cute.
When faced with the conundrum of extra cash...it's for books. Always books :) Sadly, the extra cash never appears...
:)
Possibly some clothes from a nice sale rack! It is fun to have something new.
How cute these aprons are, and what fun they would be to wear. I love the red and black combo. I recntly quit my job to stay home with my girls, so there is NO extra money to splurge.
LOL that's easy, I treat myself to a lil something extra at the grocery store, like gourmet cheese :D that or I sneak out and nab a lil sushi!
Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

Love that apron! If I have extra money, I usually buy clothes for the girls--they always need it. But, if I'm feeling like spoiling myself, I buy shoes!!
Super Cute Apron! I could use one, I never wear an apron because I don't have one and always end up with flour all over me. LOL!
Wow! some extra cash would probably be spent on something nice for myself or the kids. Darrin and I have birthdays coming up soon!
